Turn on the room lights and open doors to storage spaces you intend to include. Move personal paperwork out of view. You do not need to rearrange heavy furniture; add a note if part of an item cannot be seen safely.
Move slowly, room by room
Record one room at a time. Start with an overall view, then show the furniture and other belongings that are moving. Include boxes, appliances, and items in cupboards where relevant. Avoid rapid turns. Stop between rooms so each recording has a clear purpose, and review it before sending it for processing.
Check the result before submitting
The inventory is a starting point for your review. Check item names and quantities, add anything missing, and highlight special care needs. Include rooms that are easy to overlook, such as garages and storage areas. Submit only once your whole home is accounted for. Million Movers then reviews your report and prepares the quote.
